Stained Glass
Combing traditional methods of stained glass with modern themes and concepts I am able to create original pieces of stained glass that differs greatly from what people think of when they hear 'stained glass'.
Using the methods of traditional painting, staining, acid etching, sandblasting & plating on glass I am able to achieve these stylised illustrative pieces that convey scenes, portraits, plants and much more.
Glass Vessels & Fused Works
Utilizing fusible glass for illustration has been a working progress, the fusible glass allows me to introduce more vibrant colors within as a set of base colors to paint over as well as requiring less lead lines within a piece.
Etching multi layered handblown glass vessels has provided interesting results, there's so much to explore within the depths, textures, transparency and imagery.
Oil Painting
With my oil paintings I explore the familiar scenes to those engaging drinking & partying, recreating the feeling of engaging with the debauchery of partying, mate ship and indulgences of having a session.
